COFIMCO S.r.l. was established in 1975, with the objective of introducing an innovative axial fan to a sophisticated and more demanding market.
Fan sizes would be offered ranging in diameter from 2 ft to 40 ft, suitable for almost any application, including:
• air cooled heat exchangers
• evaporative condensers
• wet cooling towers
• radiators

This new generation fan, compared to the leading competitors, was designed to be superior in the several key parameters:
• improved performance and efficiency
• reduced sound emission
• high quality level
• lower price
• versatility
• fast production and short delivery lead time
The first three years were dedicated to research studies, development, and testing. The most significant innovations, including the aerodynamics of the blade profile and hub design, were patented in 12 countries.
In 1979, Cofimco introduced its new aluminium blade fan line, in the diameters from 2 to 20 ft.
In 1985, following the excellent response of our customers, the aluminium fans range was extended in diameter up to 40 ft. In addition, a new pultruded FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester) fan line was introduced.
In 1999 Cofimco introduce the flexy design which upset the Air Coolers and Cooling Tower fan market.
In 2004 Cofimco and Hudson join together to realize the largest axial fans manufacturer in the word.
In 2005 Cofimco establish a Company in Shanghai to follow the big growing of the Chinese ACC and C.T. market.
In 2006 Cofimco start the supply of the new generation of Super Low Noise Fans.
Today, Cofimco is the world’s leading manufacturer of extruded aluminum fans, and is one of the leaders in the fiberglass fan field.
